Interwood VOP Hot Press

The Interwood VOP hot press is a side stroke machine pressing platen which operates from side to side. 

It is popular within the marine industry for producing Polymer Marine fenders.

Hydraulic vertical veneer press technical information

• Operator friendly push button controls
• Platen size 2500 x 1300mm
• Maximum daylight between each platen surface 300mm allowing clearance for the tools
• Platens to be fitted with reciprocating ball guides and expansion runner plate making each platen to opened manually once the press has been opened hydraulically.  Moving handle to be fitted each side of every platen.
• Solid steel platens 40mm thick, drilled with ground surface, suitable for hot oil circulation.
• All platen circulation pipes to be run under the machines back to a central manifold, to enable the customer to connect their own heating and cooling system.
• Rack and pinion mechanism ensuring parallel vertical motion of the platens.
• Machine fitted with eight 50mm diameter double action rams.
• Machine fitted with automatic pressure control gauge, which will stop the machine at the set pressure and maintain pressure when pressure drops.
• Automatic timer control with an audible sound as the press is about to open
• Standard Interwood 7.5kW hydraulic pump complete with tank and control valves.  Please note this pump is not the same as fitted to your existing press, as this is obsolete.
• All operating controls will be two-handed and the machine will be fitted with two-handed start relay and emergency stop checking unit.
